Cassio I have a DS112j and I’ve just updated my DSM to 4.2.3211 (had 3202 before), and now the list of computers doesn’t appear anymore on the WoL app. I even removed it from the config file and added it again, but didn’t work. is there a quick fix for it? Thanks a lot!

You have to press the button “Click Here to install now”, then download the file and install it manually.
Also have a look on https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/2664769?p=crx_warning&hl=en&uls=en
Drag and Drop how ever did not work for me, maybe because it is already installed?
I just know that it was intuitive to install when I did it the first time

Can someone please advise why this app might be useful? I’m considering getting it but I’m not 100% sure if it’d be used much, I need several real world examples of where/how it may be handy!

ActiveSync is a separate setup. I’m using CalDAV when connecting to OC . I’m just playing with various tech in order to find one which works reliably

Active Sync supports events, tasks and notes. CalDAV on OC apparently only supports events, but I’m still interested in switching, one day.

I tried to reproduce this with CalDAV, but it works fine for me.
Maybe its due your ActiveSync implementation?

Hmm, never played around with that, why don’t you use CalDAV?
I don’t see any disadvantage except the little delay.

Here is my test case:
- Create event on Owncloud, no notes
- Wait for event to show on device or at least more time than the sync delay
- Make the event last longer on OC
- On the device, set it back to what it was previously

This created 2 events in my OC.

I still have one event which isn’t shown on the device most of the time, but shows up from time to time. Very strange
